There are so many neighborhoods in Rio. How do I know which one to stay in?

One great thing about Rio is the variety of neighbourhoods it has available based on your style, interests and budget. Copacabana and Ipanema are the most common neighbourhoods people stay in, but they are much hipper areas that are more budget friendly and very close to popular destinations.

Is it safe to travel to Rio alone?

Yes! It is a misconception that Rio is too dangerous to visit. Rio is known to have more crimes than other cities, but it is not as dangerous as social media makes it seem to be. As long as you take the proper precautions you can easily travel Rio alone and have a fabulous time.

I’m planning to work remotely from Rio. How reliable is the internet?

Rio is one of the better states in Brazil for reliable internet. Some internet providers have a stronger connection than others, especially if you do video calls. When we plan your trip we’ll make sure you are looking out for an Airbnb that has a stronger internet provider.

I’m having trouble finding local events. Where should I look?

Instagram is a good place to start. Rio has an incredible social life and there are events for all types of preferences. Whether you are simply looking for get togethers to meet new people, sports events, dance events or anything else, they likely have it.

I want to take weekend trips to nearby cities, but private buses are pricey. What other options are there?

There is no need to take private buses when you can use local buses at much much affordable prices. There are things to know when taking local buses so be sure you following correct instructions.

I only have one week in Rio, what should I make sure to see and do?

This is a complex question. Truthfully, 1 week is not enough to see all of Rio. Therefore it’s important that you have an itinerary curated to your likes and interests. Rio offers endless experiences, and I’ll make sure you enjoy the ones that matter most to you.

Do you meet up with your clients in person?

My services are strictly virtual. I make sure you are more than prepared for your trip to Rio making sure you are experiencing the city comfortably and well informed. I do have partners that are able to offer various types of in-person guided tours for those wanting to know a deeper side of the city. I also have partners who are open to just hanging out with you at the beach if you want to spend the day with a local just talking and getting to know more about Rio.
